Brad Stevens and Butler ended all bubble talk by winning the Horizon League |
With a lot of automatic bids starting to pour in, the NCAA Tournament picture is becoming more clear each night. While the smaller conferences are starting to, for the most part, wrap up, the power conferences like the Big East and Big XII have their tournaments starting to get underway. Villanova lost to South Florida in a shocker yesterday, and much more craziness is on the horizon. Read the last blog post for a break down and preview of conference tournaments, and keep an eye out for more bracketologies as the teams begin to shift around the brackets more and more.

Any thing to say to @JeffDLowe about the brackets?

So, theoretically, if one of your last four in loses in rd. 1 of their conference tournament, one (or more) of the first four out would move up and in? I always assumed this is how it would work, but would MoState be the first to move in, or are the first four out all even odds to move up?
ReplyDeleteI would have a REALLY hard time picking between Missouri State or Clemson. They are virtually even in my eyes, but I do think Missouri State should get the nod. I'd still break it down.
ReplyDeleteYou're spot on though with it. If Colorado had lost today they would have dropped out not just for right now, but for good. Luckily for them they are alive. In order for them to stay in they must win one more game. So if one of those First Four loses their next game then they will be out and one of the First Four out (barring they win, so really Missouri State is in weird shape cause they are locked out unlike Clemson or PSU) doesn't lose then they will be in.
Thanks for the read and the comment!
